Natural Wonder of The World

The firelies colonies of Kampung Kuantan and Kampung Bukit Belimbing are among the most popular tourist attractions in Selangor. Travel upstream in a small boat or take motorised boat at Bukit Belimbing and in the quiet darkness witness the blinking trees. This scintillating display of fireflies potrays an image of a flashing Christmas tree. The synchronized, rhythmic flashing is produced by the thousands of fireflies found in the mangrove swamp of Kampung Kuantan, the skilled local oarsmen make this experience a memorable and unforgettable one.

Kuala Selangor - is the ideal destination for those seeking a blend of history, local flavour nature and wildlife. Bukit Melawati is the highest point in the area which is the site 200-year-old Fort Altingsburg built by the Dutch, a lighthouse and the official residence of the District Officer, Panoramic views of the Straits of Malacca and surroundings can be enjoyed. Visitors will be delighted to watch the free-roaming Silverleaf Monkeys in this area.
