Cameron Highland - Tea Plantation

Undulating valleys and majestic mountains surrounding this popular hill station at 1,542m above sea level. Cameron Highlands is the largest hill resort in Malaysia. Rolling hills of green and blue, chilly breezes, temperate flowers, tea plantations and Tudor-style buildings make Cameron Highlands unique in Peninsular Malaysia. The two main industries in the Cameron Highlands are tourism and agriculture.

Visit to one of the largest tea plantations in Malaysia, famous as a tea growing region since colonial times almost all the that can be found served in Cameron Highlands. The two main tea growing companies are Boh Tea and Bharat Tea. Both have extensive estates and visitor areas.

Strawberry Farms - Cameron Highlands is famous for its strawberries, as it is one of the few places in South East Asia with a climate suitable for growing them. Whilst you can sample the best of james and there are plenty of strawberry farms to pluck the fresh version for yourself.

Cameron Highlands is not just about the towns but more famously the surrounding hikes and trails. There are genteel drives out of the golf course where you can explore beautiful old bungalows and little vistas and there are also most challenging drives such as the drive through Boh Tea's Sungai Palas tea estate to the peak, Gunung Brinchang, which at 6,666 feet above sea level is the highest point of Peninsular Malaysia. From the peak, the Watchtower offers a view of the entire Cameron Highlands.
